Past Rehearsal

Well this past rehearsal there were various new things, that are worth mentioning, First of all is that we have a new member, another former student, yes you heard right, this time Sandra Denisse a.k.a. "The Guava" , we hope that her participation with us isn't her first and last. Well another thing that has come to my attention is that various of our members are starting to lose interes in our proyect, and I can't get tired of repeating that we need constant perserveration, so come on former students let get it on.

Well that seems to be all for the moment so until saturday, oh and about the page, we are looking for the way to change server, because this one has too much spam and it is failing too much, soo stay tunned for more updates.

Past Rehearsal

A summary of the past rehearsal:

Well first of all, I would like to begin this post by congratulating all of those who attend constantly, and althought it was Saturday of Glory still there were a large number of assintance, again I insist if we're going to make this work we're going to need constant persisntance of each member, in this rehearsal, we continued the work on our new material, also we perfected a little bit more our way of maching thanks to Juan Pablo a.k.a El Chupa, soon we will be uploading the videos of our rehearsal..

Rehearsal...

First of all I want to begin this post by apologizing for posting so late, but as you cas see we have been a little busy, if you see we have a banner with the publicity of our anniversary. And several other things that we will be adding... Also we are working to turn the page and the blog into something of international level, soon both the page and the blog will be available in English version, for our foreigner readers.

Well that will be another post.

Changing the subject, just to comment the past events of this saturday. In this ocacion there were more members who joined our proyect, our proposition was told to them and they accepted it, sure there were some things we are going to change but that will be when the time comes.

And this saturday well there are a lot a new things, first of all we finally started to rehearse the new march, and althought it was a bit it still sounded great, we're going to get better I know it!!!. Althought this time there were less members it was still great, we need to be constant in the rehearsals so we can get our level back to were it was.

The past rehearsal we agreed that we had to try something new so... this is going to be our new material.... Hang on we're going with everything jejejeje ñ_ñ

The Rehearsal was a success!!

The past saturday, we had our first rehearsal, although many members didn't assist, it still was a success... jeje. But most important was that finally able to discuss the new proyect... and what do you think happened???. We got the full approval of our instructor to go ahead with the proyect... Now there's nothing that can stop the proyect from prevailing. Let's go Monumental Band... You can do it!!!

Remembering Old Times

Those Old Times...

A little bit of History....

The Monumental Band....


Also known as "The Ex-Alumnos (The Former Students) of the middle school known as "The Chirlos", is born from the restlessness of a group of young people, who want to return to the glory years we had before.

Here is some of it's history...

This millitary band has been forming itself by the generations of students who finish the middle school,that beggings from the times of the wheel, when they used chisels and stone planks instead of notebooks(a.k.a. the times of CHUPA jejeje), til the present time, the past, generationof the gardens jeje (a.k.a. the time of Chabela jejeje), and the now students who still don't have a nickname...(yet jejeje). Now lets remember some of their participations in various events.

The most outstanding, They Recived the Kings of Spain in the city of Guadalajara.

They participated in the September 16th parade in Guadalajara City.

They've gone to Guanajuato College to various exhibitions.

They've gone to Portugal College to various exhibitions.

They've gone to City of Jalostotilan to various exhibitions.

They've gone to City of Tlacuitapa to various exhibitions.

They've participated in diverse activities in the City of Lagos of Moreno, like: In the Subida and Bajada of Our Lord of the Calvario, the biggest religion activity in the City, and in all the mayor civic and religios events.

And of course each year they participate in the Millitary Bands Exhibition of the Middle School Jose Rosas Moreno "The Chirlitos"

Now that you know the band, let's clear some things.

1. The name Monumental Band is still not definite.

2. We want to put together this band with the sole pourpose to shut all those bands who talk to much (jeje).

3. We want to be again the innovators that we were.
